EATStaycation at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences

It has been an EATStaycation filled last few weeks for us. We’ve been staying at different hotels and serviced residences, and of course, we’re loving it! It’s always great to have a relaxing weekend elsewhere and just chill and eat all day.

In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing our most recent EATStaycation at one of the well-known serviced residences in the Salcedo Village neighborhood, in Makati City.

We love love love the Salcedo Village neighborhood because everything is just walking distance and it’s also such a safe area to walk around in. It also has a great Saturday community market and a super child-friendly park.

Everything the EATSplorations Family needs. If you are looking for a place to stay over for a great family weekend, you might want to keep on reading because we will be sharing about our EATStaycation at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences in Makati City!

EATStaycation at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences!

Say hello to Picasso! The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences is located at Leviste St. in Salcedo Village, Makati. It has been providing foreigners and locals a place to stay and enjoy the beautiful Salcedo neighborhood for 10 years and counting.

Picasso’s lovely lobby! Of course, this is where guests check-in, wait for their ride, and where they can have direct access to Pablo Bistro for their complimentary breakfast.

Service was great! The front desk was really helpful and accommodating as we expected. While we were checking-in they were really helping out guests who were about to leave. Calling cabs and ordering Grab rides to their next destination. With a smile on their faces.

Just in case you arrive a little early for check-in, you may chill out here, too! Appreciate some of the beautiful paintings on the wall. The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences is art-inspired which means all over the hotel and inside the rooms, there are paintings for everyone to see, some of the paintings are even for sale.

Before we show you the room we stayed in, we shall tour you around first! Altro Mondo Arte is the in-house art gallery of The Picasso. Exhibits here vary from time to time featuring different artists.

In-house guests and walk-ins are allowed to view the lovely works of art. In case you were wondering, whatever is on display is also for sale. Don’t forget to ask for assistance if any of the artworks catch your eye.

The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences also has a gym! Yup, just in case you need some time to workout or sweat out all the good food that you ate because of the amazing lineup of restaurants in the area, Picasso has a two-floor gym ready for you.

They also have Qi Wellness Spa if you just want to relax and enjoy various kinds of treatments for your body and mind.

After that mini-tour of The Picasso, it’s time to show you our room! It’s their Barcelona Suite. A huge room, 88 sqm. to be exact. It has a really spacious living room and a mini kitchen on one half and a large bedroom with a king-sized bed on the other half.

The ladies of EATSplorations enjoying some of the welcome treats we received! We loved how everything was laid out and how thoughtful the management was of our needs. We enjoyed the coconut juice packs and the fruits! Plus, a handwritten note never fails to impress. Well done, Picasso!

Our king-sized bed! Perfect for 2 adults and a 3-year old girl, right? Take a closer look on the next photo to see our special guest!

Pablo Bear for the little one! Great touch, Picasso! Of course, Sabine went crazy over this cute little fella. She brought her to every corner of the room and even during our short walks outside.

One of two balconies of our Barcelona Suite overlooking the streets of Salcedo. A great place to just enjoy the peace and quiet of the weekend.

It’s great to have something like this! A neighborhood guide on where to go and what to do. Well, since we checked in on a Saturday, there was no way we’re going to miss heading over to the Salcedo Saturday Market!

First, because we were really starving. Second, it was just literally across the street. Picasso is just a few steps away from one of the best weekend markets in town. It’s definitely a big plus when staying here over the weekend!

One more thing before heading out, Picasso’s reusable bag for the food we will buy at the Salcedo Market!

Yes, Salcedo Community Market! Lots of different kinds of food from various regions and countries. They also have plants, fresh produce, and handicrafts. This is one place where foreigners and locals can eat and shop their Saturday away!

One of the must-tries at Salcedo Market is the famous lobster rolls of Bun Appetit! It may cost a little bit more than other items from all the other stalls, but it is extremely delicious and worth it!

We got a Crab Aioli Roll and a Lobster Avocado Roll! Yum, yum, yum!

While the little one requested for a stick of her favorite longganisa! After all the eating and walking around, we decided to head back to Picasso to just chill out and enjoy all the space that we have in our room. We had dinner at Pablo Bistro which we will share with you in a different blog post.

Breakfast was at Pablo Bistro! As we have mentioned earlier, The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences and Pablo Bistro have partnered up to cater to the guests dining needs.

Breakfast for guests is at Pablo Bistro where there’s a little buffet selection for salads, cold cuts, bread, and pastries. There’s an ala carte menu where guests can order their main breakfast dish for a filling meal.

Cold cuts and cheese!

Our breakfast at Pablo Bistro! We got a little bit of everything from the buffet. We also got Corned Beef and Eggs and Tapa and eggs. Never ever miss their Cinnamon Apple Jam. It’s soooo good!

We had our breakfast streetside. It was really a great Sunday morning, no cars, no traffic jams, just a relaxing breakfast with really good food and amazing company.

After a leisurely breakfast, we visited the park! No vendors this time, just families having a great time. Our baby had the time of her life going up and down almost all the playground equipment. All the open space for this curious little girl. Thanks to Picasso being so near! Just a few steps away.

Another fun-filled weekend for the EATSplorations family. We really enjoyed our stay at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences.

We loved how accessible and convenient it is as we explored the Salcedo Village neighborhood. How comfortable the room was and how accommodating the staff was. Pablo Bistro is an amazing discovery, too!

Another serviced residence that is highly recommended for a quick weekend staycation or a long term stay for business travelers, in Makati City. That’s about it for another EATStaycation EATSperience here at EATSplorations. ‘Till next time!
